Canadian Journal of Academic Librarianship Updates

One new article and several new book reviews are available in the Canadian Journal of Academic Librarianship (CJAL).

In « Postwar Canadian Academic Librarians, 1945-1960 », Lorne D. Bruce explores the development of Canadian academic libraries through space, collections, and librarians as professionals.

The new book reviews include reviews for Academia Inc. by Jamie Brownlee, The Slow Professor by Maggie Berg and Barbara Seeder, D’obscurantisme et de lumières : la bibliothèque publique au Québec des origines au 21e siècle by François Séguin, and Information Literacy and Writing Studies in Conversation: Reenvisioning Library–Writing Program Connections by Andrea Baer. A big thanks to Samantha Elmsley, Mélanie Brunet, and Carly Diab for their contributions.

A reminder that there are several books to be reviewed if you are interested. Additionally, the journal is inviting submissions for two upcoming special issues.
